General Classes
for Beginners and Novices aged over 6 years or for those who just want to attend for one or two hours a week
Saturday General Class for Girls and Boys 9.00 - 10.00 am
Monday General Class For Girls 5.00-6.00pm
Tuesday General Class For Girls 5.00-6.00pm 6.00-7.00pm
Tuesday General Class For Boys 5.00-6.00pm
Wednesday General Class 5.00- 7.00pm
Friday General Class 5.30 - 6.30pm
Transition
For Beginners age 5-7 years or for children progressing from Early Learner classes.
Girls Saturday Morning 9.00-10.00am, 10.00-11.00am, 11.00-12.00pm
Boys Saturday Morning 9.00-10.00am
Girls Tuesday 5.00-6.00pm
Boys Tuesday 5.00-6.00pm
All classes run throughout the year including school holidays.
Sutton School of Gymnastics is registered with British Gymnastics and affiliated to the London Gymnastics. All of our gymnasts, regardless of how many sessions they attend, must therefore be registered with these two bodies.
A fee is therefore payable on joining and the membership year for these two organisations runs from 1st October to 30th September in any year. Fee 2011/2012 £20 per gymnast.
Clothing
Girls are expected to wear a tracksuit or sweatshirt (without a hood or zip) and jogging bottoms for warm up. After warm up the tracksuit must be removed and the gymnast will work in club uniform leotard.
Boys are expected to wear a tracksuit or sweatshirt (without a hood or zip) and jogging bottoms for warm up. After warm up the tracksuit must be removed and the gymnast work in club uniform leotard and uniform shorts.
Please note that no jewellery is permitted to be worn at any time.
Long hair must be tied back.
IMPORTANT
Please note that in line with British Gymnastics open door policy,we have a small viewing area for parents at head coach's discretion, however space is extremely limited and therefore numbers are resticted.
For logistical reasons parents are not permitted into the gymnasium on Saturdays. There is a waiting room available for those parents who wish to remain on site during their child's Saturday class.
